I'm a genderfluid assigned-male-at-birth (AMAB) with fairly big feet -- I ended up taking a size 12 -- and at the age of 55, beginning to explore feminine presentation, I had never worn heels. I ordered a pair of some other design, it didn't fit, when I returned it I could not reorder as they had discontinued it, and after another try on something else I landed on these as my third attempt. The first two, I had never worn more than a few minutes.I honestly did not expect to be able to wear heels -- I sometimes get foot cramps in normal shoes, and I am fat and clumsy -- so the point of the exercise was "try it, then when I can't, I can return them and finally lay the fantasy to rest and move on". To my astonishment, I was able to walk around the house in these without much trouble on the first try. I've been practicing wearing them longer and in more difficult circumstances since. Today I wore them for an hour while doing household chores.And I love them. They're gorgeous. They're just the right height -- tall enough to feel like heels, tall enough to feel girly, tall enough to make long skirts clear the floor, tall enough to change how tall I feel and how things look, but low enough that balancing in them is not much struggle. The fit is very good, too.And the construction is so much more solid than the previous two I'd tried. I can tell those would have fallen apart in short order, but as I didn't expect to wear them often or long, I thought that would be fine. What I didn't expect is how the quality construction also makes them feel more steady.Highly recommended for people in my situation. And I assume they're awesome for AFABs too!I wore the shoe on my cruise; comfy with many complements.I used these at a wedding, didn’t need much breakin time. Was quite comfortable for several hours.This was a last minute purchase before a wedding…and I’m glad I did!! Looked great and fit great. Very comfortable and we had to stand quite a while waiting for the transition from wedding to reception. My dress was a long black formal with a split and the straps were a great accent.More holes needed.Very comfortableFormal partyBeautiful shoe, however, the length of th straps are too short. Designer seems out of touch with the dimensions and proportions needed for wide women’s feet. Too bad, I loved the shoe.
